SUPPORT FOR PARTNERS AFTER BIRTH

You're Doing Half the Work

Most of the conversation around new parenthood focuses on the mother, for good reason. But partners, often fathers, go through a major life change too: new responsibilities, disrupted sleep, a shifted identity, and sometimes the added weight of supporting someone through a hard or traumatic birth. It's common to feel unseen, and to not have a clear place to put that.

How Therapy Helps

We'll talk through what this transition is actually like for you, not just how to support your partner better. That includes the exhaustion, the identity shift, the pressure to hold it together, and any lingering effects if the birth itself was difficult to witness or be part of.

What to Expect

This is regular individual therapy, focused on your experience specifically. No judgment for needing support even though you weren't the one who gave birth. This transition is real and it affects you too. See the FAQ page for cost and scheduling.
