FEES & INSURANCE
SESSION FEE
$150 per 45-50 minute session, for both individual and couples sessions.
INSURANCE
I'm in-network with Anthem BCBS of Georgia, Aetna, and United Healthcare, through Headway. You can check your specific benefits directly through Headway before your first session.
For all other insurance plans, I'm an out-of-network provider, and many plans will reimburse a portion of the cost. If you'd like to pursue this, I can provide a superbill with the information your insurance company needs to process a claim.
A NOTE ON COUPLES' SESSIONS
I work with a limited number of couples in addition to my individual practice. Couples sessions are $150, the same as individual sessions, but I don't bill insurance for couples work. This is a deliberate choice: insurance companies require a diagnosis for reimbursement, and there isn't a clean diagnostic fit for relationship-focused work, so couples pay out of pocket.
WHY SOME CLIENTS CHOOSE TO SKIP INSURANCE
Using insurance means your diagnosis and treatment details become part of an insurance file, and your plan may limit how many sessions you get or which types of therapy are covered. Paying out-of-network keeps your care between the two of us, with no outside limits on frequency, duration, or approach.
