WHO I HELP
I provide clients in the Atlanta area with a wide range of mental health services. I do not take a 'one size fits all' approach. From experiencing difficult life circumstances to processing traumatic experiences - my services are personalized to suit your needs.
Whether you're a parent seeking help, a college student navigating early adulthood, or you're looking for help with other concerns in life such as feeling anxious or sad, we can work together to improve your quality of life.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR VISIT
Your first visit is like test-driving a car. We'll sit down together and have a conversation about what it is that brought you in. We'll talk generally about what's going on in your life today and how you got there. I'll tell you about how I view counseling and we will work together to clarify what you'd like to see change in your life.
The first visit often feels like not much therapy got done. You'll get a sense of who I am, my process, and whether or not you'd like to come back.
You'll enter into a waiting room stocked with coffee and water. There is no receptionist, but I will come to the waiting room to get you at your appointment time. Your paperwork will already be done so we can talk about it together. In my office, you'll find a comfy couch, a mini-fridge stocked with sodas and water, and some fidget toys in case you want to distract yourself while we talk about hard things!
"Pain is unrelenting. It will get our attention. Despite our attempts to drown it in addiction, to physically beat it out of one another, to suffocate it with success and material trappings, or to strangle it with our hate, pain will find a way to make itself known. It will subside only when we acknowledge it and care for it."
I help people develop tools to cope with all of life’s challenges. Contact me today to learn more or book a session.
